45 Years of Wildeck
Wildeck Inc. is commemorating its 45th anniversary in 2021.
Since founding in 1976, Wildeck is a manufacturer of industrial work platforms (mezzanines), vertical reciprocating conveyors (VRCs), rideable material lifts (RMLs), custom ladders, access platforms, and safety guarding products.
Wildeck’s heritage can be traced back to Williams Steel and Supply Company, a Milwaukee-based steel service center that was started by Herman Williams in 1944. Custom designed Williams platforms, known as “Wildeck Mezzanines” would become so successful that the company could justify it becoming a separate division.
In 1976, the “Wildeck Mezzanines” division was formed, which ultimately marked the beginning of Wildeck, and was officially incorporated seven years later.
Today, Wildeck is a subsidiary of Holden Industries, and is a 100 percent employee-owned ESOP company.
The pride of ownership among Wildeck employees is reflected in the innovative and performance proven products that regularly solve the material handling challenges its customers face. In warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing, logistics, and other operations, Wildeck is dedicated to maximizing facility safety and space utilization with quality products made in the USA.
