Fundamentals of Rigging Engineering Program Manager Selected as ENR Top 25 Newsmaker
Keith Anderson, Bechtel’s chief rigging engineer, author of Rigging Engineering Basics, and Program Manager of the ASME-approved Industrial Training International (ITI) Fundamentals of Rigging Engineering program, is one of Engineering News-Record’s Top 25 Newsmakers of 2015.
Along with being named one of 52 Bechtel employees to ever receive the distinction of Bechtel Distinguished Engineer and Scientist (BDES) in May and the first ever from the construction division, 2015 proved to be a rousing success for Anderson.
Anderson’s long history, diverse experience, and humility provide him a strong foundation as the Program Manager of the ITI Fundamentals of Rigging Engineering Program. Providing instruction in nearly every course, Anderson’s book, Rigging Engineering Basics, also provides the key text for the program.
Bechtel’s BDES “…recognizes employees who have made particularly significant technical contributions to Bechtel’s success and reputation. They promote technical excellence throughout the company and take a leadership role in coaching and mentoring other specialists.”
