Tompkins Tackles Post-COVID-19
After releasing his latest playbook, “Restarting the Economy: Guidance for Public and Private Leaders,” Jim Tompkins, founder and chairman of Tompkins International, will join another webinar tomorrow (Wednesday 20 May) to help supply chain professionals resume operations after COVID-19.
At 9:30am EST, Tompkins will discuss the impacts of innovative and crisis disruptions on supply chains and commerce and how companies must continuously improve, transform and reinvent for success in the webinar, “VUCA: How Do We Get Back to Better?”
Tompkins has been steering the development of Tompkins International’s COVID-19 Resources, an online hub of educational and thought leadership content that focuses on the impacts of COVID-19, successful supply chain reinvention strategies and other related topics to help businesses flourish in times of VUCA—volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity.
“While the world has been focused on controlling, avoiding and eliminating the public health risks associated with COVID-19, this pandemic has been wreaking havoc on our global economy,” said Tompkins. “These webinars will explore how businesses can successfully restart operations and adapt to the ‘new normal’ moving forward.”

This webinar follows last Friday’s “Restarting the Economy: Guidance on the Backside of the Disruption,” where Tompkins shared his detailed strategies for how companies can prepare to do business in the not-so-normal conditions over the next 6-18 months.
