A1A Software Opens Training Center, Expands Staff
A1A Software LLC, developer of 3D Lift Plan and iCraneTrax lift planning and business management tools, recently relocated to new corporate headquarters in Fernandina Beach, Florida. The 2,500 square foot office includes a training center equipped with 18 computer stations to support 3D Lift Plan Boot Camp. A1A Software’s new address is 1557 S. 8th St., Fernandina Beach, FL, 32034.
3D Lift Plan Boot Camp provides customers with high-impact, one-on-one training on all the features of 3D Lift Plan. Upon completion of the training, customers can create a complicated tandem lift, critical lift plan, video of the lift, and be able to utilize every feature of the lift planning program. Students who successfully pass the exams can receive Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Certification.
“Having a training room with dedicated high speed internet and computers featuring graphics cards and 16 gig of ram has shaved a half day from the training schedule,” said Tawnia Weiss, president of A1A Software.
Previously, the 3D Lift Plan Boot Camp took three days. The first two classes held at the new training center were completed in 2-1/2 days. “Other teaching tools and amenities, such as conference room and kitchenette, make training productive and comfortable for 3D Lift Plan customers,” she said.
Future 3D Lift Plan Boot Camps are scheduled for November and December.
Growing staff supports market expansion
In addition to the executive offices and training center, the new headquarters houses engineering, sales, and customer support staff. New features and expanded product offerings for 3D Lift Plan and iCraneTrax, has made it necessary for A1A Software to increase its sales and support staff. Weiss announces the addition of the following team members.
Ervin Hansen has been named sales manager. He comes with extensive experience in domestic and international sales and sales consulting, sales training, and marketing. Able to speak German, Danish, and English, Hansen is tasked with growing A1A Software’s domestic and international customer base.
Jackie Shrader joins the team as an additional graphics and data engineer. She will be responsible for data entry of load charts and the graphic creation of cranes used in 3D Lift Plan.
“These individuals bring unique talents and skills that will help A1A Software provide superior customer service to a global market,” said Weiss.
