Additional Promotions at Harrington Hoists
Further to earlier personnel changes, Harrington Hoists Inc. has promoted four top executives in its corporate structure.
Yoshio Morita was promoted to executive officer of Kito Corporation and chief administrative officer of Kito Americas Inc. In this position, Morita will expand his executive role in development and strategic planning on a global basis.
Morita transferred from Kito in Japan to the Harrington headquarters in Manheim, PA in 2008 as vice president of administration. He was later promoted to CAO for the company and most recently served Harrington as vice president of administration. Morita holds a LLB from Nihon University, Tokyo, Japan.
Marc Premont has been named executive officer of Kito Corporation, chief operating officer of Kito Americas Inc. and president of Kito Canada Inc. Premont will now provide senior leadership in all aspects of operations of the four Kito Americas companies which include Harrington Hoists Inc., Peerless Industrial Group, Kito Canada Inc. and Kito do Brasil.
Premont began at Kito Canada Inc. in 1993 as a regional sales representative and was promoted to marketing manager in 1996. With a proven track record, Premont was later promoted to VP and then to president of Kito Canada Inc. His dedication and leadership have greatly contributed to the growth of the Canada-based company and he will now be instrumental in optimizing business performance across their company. Premont graduated from Capliano University, British Columbia Institute of Technology and holds an MBA from Simon Fraser University.
Bret Lussow was promoted to executive vice president business development of Kito Americas Inc. In this position, Lussow will expand his executive role into the four companies of Kito Americas Inc. He will also serve on the Harrington Hoists Inc. board of directors.
Lussow joined Harrington in 1998 as a sales representative and he was later promoted to regional sales manager. He most recently served Harrington as vice president of business development where he headed business development, marketing, engineering and customer service for the company. Lussow will continue to focus on customer service and sales growth for all Kito Americas companies. Lussow earned a BS degree in Marketing and Communications from Northern Michigan University.
Mark Snavely was promoted from vice president of finance for Harrington Hoists Inc. to chief financial officer of Kito Americas Inc., effective April 1 2016. Snavely will expand his focus on financial planning, consolidated financials, strengthening economic strategies and forecasting for all of the Kito Americas companies.
Snavely was hired as controller for Harrington in 2005 and was named VP of finance for the company in 2013. He graduated from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania with a BSBA in Accounting and earned an MBA in Finance from The Pennsylvania State University.
