AEM Celebrates Sixth Top Workplace Recognition
The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), a trade organization for off-road equipment manufacturers and suppliers, has been recognized again as one of Southeast Wisconsin’s Top Workplaces by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
“The Top Workplace recognition this year is particularly rewarding as the pandemic has impacted staff and how we work together,” said AEM president Dennis Slater. “I’m so proud of our team and how we continue to support each other as well as provide the best value for our more than 1,000 members that are located across North America.”
AEM has received the Top Workplaces recognition for the past five years and in 2015. In March 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, AEM instituted a universal work-from-home policy to keep all staff safe and healthy.
“We work to foster a culture of respect, inclusion and empowerment at AEM and this award reflects that effort,” said Judy Gaus, AEM vice president of human resources and operations. “Challenges often bring teams closer together, and we’ve seen that this year as we adjusted approaches to keep staff connected, healthy and engaged.”
- AEM is the North America-based international trade group representing off-road equipment manufacturers and suppliers with more than 1,000 companies and more than 200 product lines in the agriculture and construction-related industry sectors worldwide. The equipment manufacturing industry in the United States supports 2.8 million jobs and contributes roughly $288 billion to the economy every year.
