Autoquip’s Joe Robillard Retires
Autoquip president Joe Robillard has decided to retire at the end of August 2020. Chris Kuehni, currently director of operations, has been appointed to replace him.
Robillard joined Autoquip in February 1999. Under his leadership, the company has grown financially, improved product quality and re-invigorated innovation across its product portfolio.
CEO of Miner Enterprises, the parent company to Autoquip, said: “We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to Joe who oversaw a strategy to refocus the company from a standard scissors lift manufacturer to one of innovation, custom solutions, and product diversity. He has helped build a reputation in the material handling industry of providing quality product, reliability, and safety. Joe is tremendously respected throughout the company, and he is known for his integrity, dedication and service.”
Robillard said: “It has been one of my greatest honors to work with the talented and hardworking team at Autoquip. Together we have offered some of the industry’s most innovative solutions and solved some of our customer’s toughest challenges. I am proud of this work and look forward to watching what this great team can accomplish going forward.”
Kuehni joined Autoquip in 1999 in manufacturing operations where he has successfully led Autoquip in transforming and adapting to lean manufacturing processes and solutions. He has led the company through operational excellence, system-wide production and manufacturing improvements, and employee health and safety.
