Bastian Breaks Ground in Noblesville
Bastian Solutions, a Toyota Automated Logistics company, along with members of the local community, gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking of Bastian’s state-of-the-art manufacturing and corporate campus in Noblesville, Indiana.
This significant milestone marks a major step forward in the company’s commitment to innovation, growth, and the local community.
The new campus, strategically located in Noblesville, will serve as the headquarters for Bastian Solutions‘ manufacturing operations and corporate functions, consolidating several existing buildings into one centralized location. The 164-acre campus will feature cutting-edge facilities designed to foster collaboration, enhance operational efficiency, and accommodate future expansion.
Bastian‘s move to Noblesville coincides with the expansion plans of its sister company, Toyota Material Handling (TMH), in Columbus, Indiana. Their parent company, Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO), is allocating nearly $100 million for the expansion of TMH‘s 260,000 square foot factory and $165 million for Bastian‘s combined manufacturing and office space spanning 435,000 square feet. These strategic investments by TICO in Indiana underscore a significant commitment to innovation and community development.
“We are thrilled to take this next step in the Bastian Solutions journey with the groundbreaking of our new manufacturing and corporate headquarters campus,” said Bastian Solutions President & CEO, Aaron Jones. “Toyota’s investment in Noblesville, along with Toyota Material Handling’s in Columbus, showcases Toyota’s long-term vision for driving progress in manufacturing, logistics, and its investment in the state of Indiana.”
The groundbreaking ceremony, held on July 15, 2024, brought together key project stakeholders, representation from the State of Indiana, Noblesville community leaders, Bastian Solutions team members, and distinguished guest Yojiro Mizuno, Executive Vice President of Toyota Industries Corporation and President of Toyota Automated Logistic Group, to celebrate. Attendees had the opportunity to witness the symbolic start of construction and learn more about the vision behind the new campus.
“We are excited to officially break ground on Bastian Solutions‘ new corporate campus in Noblesville. The corporate headquarters relocation to our city not only represents an investment in the international company’s future, but our community and workforce. The commitment to retaining existing jobs and creating new ones will have a lasting impact for generations to come,” said Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen. “We look forward to the partnership and collaboration between Bastian Solutions and Noblesville, and we extend our thanks for investing in our community.”
Upon completion, the new manufacturing and corporate headquarters campus will not only serve as a hub for Bastian Solutions‘ operations but also create job opportunities, drive economic growth, and contribute to the thriving business landscape of Noblesville and the surrounding region.
“Indiana’s rich and long-standing relationship with Japan and its industry leaders like Toyota Industries Corporation continues to power investments in the state’s economy and communities,” said Secretary of Commerce David Rosenberg. “Bastian Solutions’ new campus is yet another step forward in its growth and continued partnership with the state, reaffirming the many competitive advantages that the central Indiana region offers – from a connected and vibrant location to a robust manufacturing ecosystem with top suppliers, partners and talent.”
