Blue Hat Crane Celebrates Tadano Relationship
Blue Hat Crane of Kansas City, Missouri is now a representative for all Tadano products and has added a ATF 180G-5, GR-1000XL and GR-750XL to its fleet.
“Blue Hat will be a key player in growing Tadano’s market share in Missouri and Kansas,” said Jay Shiffler, executive vice president of sales, marketing and customer service for Tadano America. “We’re glad to have a committed partner that will serve our customers and products well.”
Blue Hat Crane has also built a new 22-acre facility with a 60,000 square-foot maintenance shop and warehouse.
“Our new equipment acquisitions have enabled Blue Hat to expand both our bare rental and operated and maintained fleets,” said David Lapin, sales representative for Blue Hat Crane. “The new crane shop is part of our commitment to supplying the latest equipment, parts and service available in the industry.“
At an open house event, Tadano America gave Blue Hat a traditional warrior’s kabuto helmet (a type of helmet first used by ancient Japanese warriors).
“We‘ve had to fight battles daily to bring our company to this point,“ said Florian Rothbrust, senior vice president for Blue Hat Crane. “The helmet will bring us luck and victory!”
Established in 1993 in Houston, Texas, Tadano America Corporation is the strategic base for sales of rough terrain cranes and all terrain cranes for the North American market.
Blue Hat began operations in 2013 with the intention of providing the Kansas City and the Midwest Region a truly professional crane rental service company.
