Bluff Names Two New Sales Managers
Bluff Manufacturing has named two new sales managers—Joe Howeth and Charlie Wood. Both bring a proven sales track record, strong management skills and professional training to the company.
Howeth will serve as regional sales manager—south and west, based in Texas, while Wood will serve as regional sales manager—midwest and Canada, based in Michigan. They join Jay Bodnar, regional sales manager—northeast.
Howeth was most recently a national delivery systems sales manager and business development manager with Magline Inc., where he set the company on track towards a new company sales record of over $5 million total delivery system revenue. He spearheaded the establishment of a new sales division for Magline that now represents 25% of total revenue.
Howeth’s previous experience includes sales management positions with President Baking / Keebler Cookies and Pepsi Bottling Group. In 2000, Howeth was named southwest district manager of the year for the Dallas region for President Baking / Keebler Cookies.
Charlie Wood was most recently a national sales manager with Sentry Protection Products, where he increased product sales over 30% in the U.S. and over 34% overall in North America.
Wood has won top sales awards throughout his career, such as first in percentage growth for multiple years, first in new product sales, and largest single sale of Line Side product in Unex company history in 2008.
“Joe and Charlie are great additions to Bluff Manufacturing not only because of their exceptional sales background but because of the high integrity with which they operate. Hiring these two to round out our outside sale team is key to meeting our mission of providing the best customer service,” said Andrea Curreri, president, Bluff Manufacturing.
