Bolzoni to Target Forklift Market at ProMat

Bolzoni Auramo Inc., a manufacturer of forklift truck-related equipment, will show a range of products at next week’s ProMat show, which takes place 8-11 April at Chicago’s McCormick Place. Bolzoni will exhibit at Booth S408.

The swing frame paper roll clamp, the new multi pallet handler, and the new LS-V carton and appliances clamp are just a few examples of the wares on show.

Bolzoni, which has been operating in the U.S. market since 1989 from a manufacturing plant in Homewood, Illinois, will move to a new site in Sulligent, Alabama. The new 300,000 square foot facility will facilitate production and assembly of fork lift truck attachments.

“This expansion gives us the possibility to enlarge the attachments range,” said John Regan, vice president—sales and marketing. “The plant is going to deliver highly cost competitve products, locally produced, with reduced lead times, with improved customer service—on site and better.”

Well-known in the forest product handling logistic market, Bolzoni is also a point of reference for the beverage industry, for palletized load handling, such as soft drinks, breweries, and for the carton and appliances sector, where it also delivers tailor-made solutions.

At ProMat, the aforementioned swing frame paper roll clamp—AMCS Series has a 360-degree single-stage rotation unit and is equipped with and heavy-duty clamp body and arm design. The carton clamp of the LS-V Series is designed for safe and damage-free palletless handling of white goods and high-volume carton boxes, such as appliance and electronics, warehousing and beverage industries. The multi pallet handler—12PH Series, meanwhile, is suitable for lifting pallets on both sides, either singly or two at a time.

The 180-degree rotating paper roll clamp—ARC Series is designed and engineered to have superior visibility, great rotating speed and to be operator friendly. The RC Series is suitable for all applications requiring rotation.
