Build Safer Operators with Simulation-Based Training
A webinar that takes place on 21 June at 10am EDT will discuss the benefits of simulation-based operator training.
The webinar, co-hosted by Debbie Dickinson, CEO, Crane Industry Services and Drew Carruthers, product manager, CM Labs Simulations, will address professionals interested in improving training methodologies and measuring operator skills.
A publicity announcement reported, “Worksite incidents are not always the result of mistakes made by rookie operators. An even bigger danger lurks in skills that have gone too long without refreshers. In fact, the collision between out-of-date information, deficits in best practices, and complex worksites can create a perfect storm of deadly risk.”
It added that top organizations are using simulators to reinforce the connections between operations, worksite conditions, and the operating environment, resulting in skilled operators, successful projects and safer operations.
Dickinson will present how her U.S.-based organization is using simulators for skills training, operator assessment, and the development of “connected competencies.” Carruthers, meanwhile, will examine some of the innovative ways the construction industry is using simulation for safer operations—and what lies ahead.
Moderated by Equipment Today editor Becky Schultz, this special event will show how industry can apply objective and consistent learning methodologies with simulation-based training—with proven results:
- faster time to competency
- skilled and safe operators
- more effective assessment
