CaPow’s ProMat Genesis
CaPow will show a variety of battery-free solutions at ProMat, which takes place March 20-23 at Chicago’s McCormick Place, including its Genesis system (Booth N8246).
CaPow’s Genesis is an energy delivery platform that charges robots while they are moving, thus eliminating all charging time and allowing them to work 24/7.
Mor Peretz, CEO, said: “Supply chain managers are now turning to robots—AMRs, AGVs and AS/RS robots—to address labor shortage, order accuracy and safety problems. This solution often relies on batteries for power supply, which creates other operational, environmental, and safety challenges.”
In addition to increasing productivity, CaPow’s new technology helps organizations with their ESG initiatives when they reduce the dependency on the storage, maintenance and recycling of lithium-Ion batteries.
Peretz added: “As part of our global expansion efforts, I am pleased to announce that CaPow has raised $7.5 million in seed round funding led by IL Ventures.”
