CCS Opens New Manufacturing Facility

CCS, a provider of automated material handling and industrial automation solutions, has begun manufacturing operations at a new 40,000 square foot facility on Monroe Avenue in Frederick, MD.

In May of this year, CCS launched a new mobile conveyor line and it quickly made a big splash in warehouses around the country. With over six linear miles already sold and plenty more on the way, it needed a new manufacturing facility to meet demand.

The new Monroe Facility is a short drive from headquarters in Frederick. It will run two shifts and employ 100 workers tasked with cranking out as much mobile conveyor as possible. The team is happy to have CCS conveyor manufactured back in Maryland, after several years at the Coleman Plant in Savannah, GA, which will continue manufacturing operations.
