Clark Named Kentucky Manufacturer of the Year
Clark Material Handling Company has received the 2014 Mid-Size Manufacturer of the Year award presented by the Kentucky Association of Manufacturers (KAM). The award was announced at the 14th annual Manufacturer & Employee of the Year Awards Luncheon held at the Seelbach Hilton in Louisville, Kentucky.
“Having a positive manufacturing presence in Kentucky is something Clark is proud of. To win this award and be acknowledged amongst our peers is an honor,” said Clark chief operations officer Chuck Moratz. Award winners were selected based on the following criteria by an independent awards selection committee:
Innovative and entrepreneurial leadership with regard to products, production method, or services.
Recognized leadership in making a key contribution to the quality of life in the Commonwealth and the community.
Active involvement in organizations that advance industry and manufacturing.
”These awards pay tribute to those from our manufacturing community who provide leadership, demonstrate high standards, and promote manufacturing here in the Commonwealth, and these winners personify the best of the best,” said KAM president and CEO Greg Higdon. “We had a record number of nominees this year, making our selection committee’s job even more difficult than usual. We congratulate all of our nominees, and our 2014 winners.”
