Daifuku Confirms ProMat Seminar Schedule
Daifuku North America, a provider of material handling solutions, and subsidiary Wynright Corporation, have announced their schedule for on-floor seminars at ProMat 2015, which takes place 23-26 March at McCormick Place in Chicago.
Combining engineering prowess, products and services, Daifuku North America and Wynright solve the material handling systems challenges of the 21st Century supply chain.
Company executives will impart their industry knowledge and experiences during the following presentations:
- “How Robotics and other Technologies Meet the Needs of Modern DC Operations” by Clint Lasher, executive vice president, solution sales; and Alfredo Valadez, vice president of business development, robotics for Wynright—1:30pm on Monday 23 March in Theater C.
- “Top 10 Reasons AGVs (Automatic Guided Vehicles) / AGCs (Automatic Guided Carts) are Transforming Material Handling” by Bruce Buscher, vice president of sales, smart handling for Jervis B. Webb Company—12pm on Tuesday 24 March in Theater G.
- “Top 5 Ways AGVs Drive Lean Efficiency and Reduce Costs in Manufacturing” by Sarah Carlson, marketing director for Daifuku North America—3pm on Tuesday 24 March in Theater G.
Issues surrounding automation, competitiveness, labor costs, material handling, workplace safety, put-away and picking, pallet building, and the dock area will be explored in depth.
Besides the on-floor seminars, the companies will convene a news conference at 9am CT on Monday 23 March for media attending the show.
