DMW&H to Exhibit and Present at MODEX
DMW&H, a full-service integrator of material handling systems, has announced that director of business development, Chris Castaldi, will be presenting “Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle: Building a Green DC Saves More Than Green Dollars” at MODEX show.
DMW&H will also be exhibiting its next-generation material handling solutions at the exhibit hall in Booth 4235. MODEX 2016 takes place 4-7 April in Atlanta, Georgia. Attendees to the presentation will be treated to a real-life case study of a leading retailer which incorporated green into its warehouse design, leading to substantial lower energy usage.
“With energy costs continuing to rise and consumers looking for more sustainable brands, companies are searching for ways to reduce the carbon footprint of their warehouse. Businesses know that using ‘green’ and energy efficient equipment within a distribution center can save money on energy while making the right move for the environment,” said Joe Colletti, president, DMW&H.
He added: “From reduced trash to energy savings with solar power, building environmentally friendly warehouses brings more to your business than you could ever imagine.”
“Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle: Building a Green DC Saves More Than Green Dollars” will discuss how companies can go ‘green’ within their fulfillment operations and how to make their warehouse more environmentally friendly.
Green equipment includes energy efficient conveyors with sensors that tell when a product is close by; warehouse control system that turns equipment on/off; recycled equipment and supplies; and more.
DMW&H incorporates green into warehouse designs using solar panels, low energy lighting, and fans while reclaiming water to use for landscaping. From reduced trash to energy savings with solar power, building environmentally friendly warehouses brings more to businesses than can be imagined.
The seminar takes place in the on-floor Theatre G on Wednesday 6 April at 3pm.
DMW&H will showcase its material handling solutions, such as Shiraz Warehouse Control System, in Booth 4235 at MODEX.
