EASE workshop winning solution

Ed Romaine, chief marketing officer, Sapient Automation, has hailed the Ergonomic Assist Systems and Equipment (EASE) Council’s workshop at MODEX 2012, a “win-win-win solution”.

EASE, an industry group of Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA), held a workshop titled “Engineered Solutions for Manual Handling Jobs” on February 8-9, 2012 and co-located with MODEX 2012 in Atlanta, Ga. The workshop included an open panel discussion focused on developing engineering solutions for manual materials handling (MMH) jobs in retail, wholesale, and warehousing (RWW) industries.

Over 50 leaders of the retail, wholesale & warehousing industries attended as well as leading material handling solution providers looking to assist in resolving the many MMH issues which these operations face every day.

“This meeting was the start of a relationship between mass merchandisers looking for solutions to daily problems and manufacturers looking to provide existing and develop new products to meet these needs creating a true win-win-win solution,” said Romaine.
