Goods-to-Person Robotic System Returns to ProMat
Opex Corporation has confirmed that Opex Material Handling will be exhibiting at ProMat 2015, which takes place 23-26 March at McCormick Place South in Chicago (booth 2019).
Two years after launching Perfect Pick at ProMat 2013, Opex will return with a fully functioning demo system. Perfect Pick is a robotic goods-to-person picking technology, engineered to simplify order fulfillment technology. It’s ‘one-touch’ design is based on a single automated component—the iBOT.
Perfect Pick’s simple design and streamlined operations result in a more flexible and scalable system that can grow at the actual rate a business grows making it ideally suited for businesses looking to move into automation for the first time.
“The public launch of Perfect Pick at ProMat just over two years ago, generated an enormous amount of interest in our first-of-its-kind robotic order picking technology,” said Jeff Hedges, president, Opex Material Handling.
“To date, Perfect Pick systems have been installed for iHerb, BHFO, NewEgg and Petzl. A second Perfect Pick installation is well underway at iHerb’s newest D.C. located in Perris, California, as part of a long-term growth strategy to replicate the Perfect Pick system across other locations.
