Integrated Systems Design to Host ProMat Seminars
Integrated Systems Design (ISD) will host three seminars during ProMat 2015 at Chicago’s McCormick Place South, 23-26 March. The seminars will be presented by Robert Jones, ISD senior distribution consultant.
“Aligning the Warehouse, Purchasing and Sales for Your Success and Sanity,” will be presented in Theater G at 1:30pm on 23 March. This seminar will focus on the importance of inventory management and its relationship to the strategic alignment of the goals of vendors, operations and the sales and marketing staff necessary to assure company growth and profitability. Seminar attendees will receive a written guide to help them execute an effective alignment strategy.
“Metrics Suck…Converting the Warehouse from a Cost Center to a Profit Center,” will be presented in Theater C at 1:30pm on 24 March and will be repeated on March 26 at 10:30am in the same theatre. This seminar will look at the real costs of running a distribution center and how to convert the DC operation from a cost center to a profit center. The session will also review common mistakes and the opportunities that are often wasted because “the metrics” are sufficient. Participants will learn how to see beyond metrics to find opportunities that create positive financial impact.
