Liebherr-Aerospace in Brazil: Lean Manufacturing
Liebherr Aerospace Brasil Ltda. in Guaratinguetá recently welcomed 44 representatives of 17 different companies of the region who are members of the Lean Six Sigma Forum (University of São Paulo).
The visitors—among them Gilberto Kosaka, pioneer in the introduction of the Lean Concept in Brazil—were taken on a plant tour and learned about Liebherr-Aerospace’s Lean Principles which the company had started to implement successfully in its Brazilian plant in 2014.
Since 2015, representatives of Liebherr Aerospace Brasil participate in the forum that supports companies to implement the Lean Concept.
