Menasha Named Mega Manufacturer
Menasha Corporation, a sustainable corrugated and reusable plastic packaging manufacturer, has been awarded the Grand Award for Mega Manufacturer of the Year by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) in the 35th Annual Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year (MOTY) Awards.
This award program recognizes Wisconsin companies dedicated to quality careers, good business practices, financial growth, innovative processes and reinvestment in local communities.
As one of America’s oldest privately held, family-owned manufacturing companies, Menasha Corporation continues to set benchmarks for excellence and sustainability.
“We are incredibly honored to be recognized by WMC as one of the most prestigious manufacturers in Wisconsin,” Chris Drees, President and CEO of Menasha Corporation, said.
“In our 175th year of business, such a distinction not only acknowledges our company’s longevity but also our outstanding team’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of innovation and upholding top-tier safety and sustainability practices across the industry.”
In recent years, Menasha Corporation has pioneered investments in advanced technologies and sustainability to transform and modernize operations in pursuit of excellence and customer satisfaction. In addition, cutting edge programs and involvement from employees helped drive safety improvements across our facilities.
“Safety and sustainability are the foundation of our everyday operations,” Drees added.
“Our proactive safety program and substantial investments in industry-leading safety training echo our commitment to not only our products and processes but most importantly, to our employees’ well-being.”
Out of the 36 finalists, WMC selected only nine Wisconsin companies with MOTY Awards and within this elite group, Menasha Corporation is one of only four that received Grand Awards for outstanding performance.
The Grand Award winners exhibit the strength and vibrancy of the manufacturing industry.
“Wisconsin’s best superpower is our manufacturing industry,” Kurt R. Bauer, Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) President & CEO, said.
“We appreciate the opportunity both to highlight manufacturing as a whole and to showcase the best of our state’s workforce.
“We’re incredibly proud of Wisconsin’s manufacturing heritage and the notoriety this industry has brought to our state and are confident that it is companies like these that will continue to drive Wisconsin forward.”
