MHEFI Calls for 2017/2018 Scholarships

The Material Handling Education Foundation Inc. (MHEFI) has issued a call for scholarship applications for the 2017/2018 term. The deadline for application is 28 February 2017.

MHEFI will offer scholarship award opportunities to students who are committed to studying material handling, supply chain and logistics in the 2017/2018 academic term. Scholarship awards range from $1,500 to $6,000. One application allows students to compete for multiple scholarships offered by the foundation.

Upperclassmen and graduate students are eligible to apply and must attend or be accepted to a ABET, ACBSP, or AASCB accredited school as well as being full-time students with a “B” average. Students must complete the online application here and submit three letters of recommendation and official transcripts. Letters and transcripts must be submitted directly by the author/institution and not by the student.

MHEFI is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to encouraging and supporting material handling education. Established in 1976, the foundation has provided funds, though private and corporate donations, to graduate and undergraduate students, as well as to academicians and their institutions.

MHI is an international trade association that has represented the industry since 1945. MHI members include material handling, logistics and supply chain equipment and systems manufacturers, integrators, consultants, publishers, and third party logistics providers.
