MODEX 2018—Official Attendance: 30,944!
To say MODEX 2018 was a success would be a vast understatement based on the official attendance number: 30,944. That is a 25% growth in attendance over 2016!
But it was not just about numbers, as you can tell from feedback MHI received from some of the exhibitors. It was a great show all around, from numbers to lead quality and education sessions to networking events to keynotes:
“We’ve had a great show! We wanted to meet a lot of new clients we could help with tugging materials instead of using forktrucks for deliveries, and we were busy with that. We introduced our hands-free material movement system, CARRYMATiC, at the show too. We’ve had a lot of visits from AGV companies seeking cart solutions, as well.”
—Jon McKee, J-tec Industries, Inc.
“We wanted to spread the word about our projects. It is a source of networking for us, too. It’s been an incredibly productive period of time for us. We are also here to educate and provide demos. The demo is the most important thing we do here. We benefit from talking to people too. We go to MODEX and ProMat every year.”
—Nancy Gilberti, OPEX Corporation
“We had some great leads and people showed definitive interest in our print and apply solutions. All in all, the people who stopped by the booth were good. They asked a lot of good questions.”
—Ken Terrazzino, Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc.
“It’s probably one of the best shows they’ve had in a while. Traffic has been heavy and we’ve got some good prospects. Mike Rowe was incredible and Jim Gaffigan was hysterical. Everyone stepped up their game with Industry Night. I go to all the networking events afterward, too. They are fantastic.”
—Amy Sammarino, DMW&H
“The location (in C Hall) by the food was good. We have done more demos in these four days thane we probably have in the last month.”
—Matt Fain, bluegrace
“It’s been really busy. We had a lot of booth tours and customer meetings. We’ve been able to achieve our goals. We had a lot of media come by, as well as walk-throughs. We’ve made a lot of connections we’ll be able to follow through with after the show, too. It’s been good to connect here and start these conversations.”
