New White Paper from MHI Solutions Community

The MHI Solutions Community has partnered with the College-Industry Council on Material Handling Education (CICMHE) to release a white paper titled “Adding Value to Manufacturing, Retail, Supply Chain, and Logistics Operations with Big Data Analytics,” by Ishita Gupta and Manjunath Kamath of Oklahoma State University.

This paper examines how big data analytics can add value to supply chain operations by gaining insightful business knowledge about business operations. As a huge amount of data is generated daily, descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics can be used to make sense of the data and benefit supply chain operations by supporting real-time data feeds, better in-store shopping experiences, or predicting customer responses to promotions, among others.
