North American Delegation Expected at Singapore Crane Conference

The UK-based Lifting Equipment Engineers Association is anticipating the attendance of North and South American delegates when it hosts the inaugural LEEA Lifting & Rigging Conference Asia at the Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium on Outram Road, 23-24 June 2015.

The new high-level conference will be opened by the Singapore Ministry of Manpower and combines two days of presentations and networking for lifting industry professionals working with overhead cranes, hoists and rigging equipment in onshore, offshore and marine applications. The event also boasts a tabletop exhibition that will be open to all attendees during breakfast, coffee and lunch breaks.

LEEA has a growing presence in the Americas. Inspectors at NOV Tuboscope, part of National Oilwell Varco’s Wellbore Technologies segment, received LEEA training over a two-week period at its Houston, Texas facility in February, for example.
