OZ Lifting Launches New Website

Winona, Minnesota-based OZ Lifting Products LLC has launched a new website: https://ozliftingproducts.com

The new site captures every product in the catalog — from davit cranes to winches — but more broadly serves as an online portal to the business.

OZ Lifting timed the launch of the new website to follow 20th anniversary celebrations; the company was inaugurated on December 4, 2004.

It will not only provide a more modern and user-friendly experience for customers but will also allow OZ to showcase expanding products and services more effectively. Significant investment has been placed in design and search features to ensure that visitors — distributors, reps, and end users — can easily navigate the multifaceted platform.

OZ Lifting is best known for its range of davit cranes, including the 1,200-lbs. capacity U.S. Patented CompOZite model that is made from advanced composite material and weighs only 83 lbs. The CompOZite Elite, meanwhile, is the world’s most innovative davit crane, offering the same capacity with a total crane weight of only 37 lbs.

The new site captures every product in the catalog but more broadly serves as an online portal to the business.

The recently relaunched Tele-Pro davit, also U.S. Patented, available in 500 lbs., 1,200 lbs. and 2,500 lbs. capacities, allows users to leverage the benefits of the manufacturer’s other cranes, while telescoping the boom in and out under load. Among other davits and accessories are manual and electric hoists and winches, in addition to a range of beam trolleys, clamps, and wire rope products.

The site features new product computer-aided design (CAD) files.

The website upgrade project started in February 2024, in collaboration with CI Design, of Milwaukee, a brand marketing and web agency. The site features an advanced search filtering system; better navigation; new product computer-aided design (CAD) files; and web pages dedicated to specific industries. Users will see blogs, press releases, social media links, videos, downloads, and everything else they need in one place.

Ashley Blum, marketing manager at OZ Lifting, said: “Overall, this update is a strategic move to position our company for continued growth and success in the digital age. It is designed with the user experience at the forefront.

Designed with the user experience at the forefront, the new website positions the company for continued growth.

“The developers conducted in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, including corporate decision-makers, engineers, end users, distributors, and sales reps, to understand their needs and pain points. By gathering their feedback and insights, we were able to tailor the website to provide a seamless and efficient experience for everyone who visits. This collaborative approach ensured that the final product would meet the diverse needs of our audience.”

Steve Napieralski, president at OZ Lifting, said: “When Ashley joined the team [in July 2023], she brought a deep understanding of social media and digital potential. While the company was previously active on Twitter [X] and YouTube, her strategic approach in leveraging additional platforms has led to a significant increase in our online presence and expanded our reach to connect with new audiences.

OZ will use the website to showcase expanding products and services more effectively.

“We’ve received positive feedback from customers and industry peers who have discovered and learned more about OZ through our digital efforts. As we move forward, we’re committed to maintaining and expanding our social presence to drive growth.”

The new website goes live as OZ Lifting continues to celebrate 20 years in business. It has also moved into a new state-of-the-art 40,000 square-foot facility.

A recruitment campaign is ongoing to hire for several key marketing and engineering roles.
