American Industrial Manipulator Company (AIMCO) is offering a variety of custom end tools that allow for automatic clamping and unclamping in parts handling applications.

Utilizing the ACU range, production can be faster and safer. Each system comes standard with safety features, including a safety set down and varying loss-of-air systems. The ACU control package has been carefully designed so that it may be integrated with an intelligent lifting device, air balancer, air hoist, or an AIMCO torque arm.

There are three types of part clamping that can be used with the system—vacuum, magnet and mechanical.
