KION Launches Three New Linde Electric Pallet Trucks at MODEX
KION North America released three new Linde electric pallet trucks at MODEX 2018 in Atlanta—the leading trade show for supply chain, manufacturing and distribution industries.
With load capacities ranging from 2,600 to 4,500 lbs., Linde’s MT series of electric pallet trucks yield unmatched maneuverability in warehouse and pedestrian applications. This is KION North America’s first new product introduction of 2018.
“Our new MT series pallet trucks is just the first release of our new warehouse line—a product line we’ll continue to grow throughout the year,” said Vincent Halma, president and CEO of KION North America.
The MT12 model features a load capacity of 2,600 lbs. and was specially designed for low-hour applications in small retail stores, production lines, warehouses or goods transport sectors. Powered by a Lithium-ion battery, this electric pallet truck offers up to 3 hours of use.
With a load capacity of 3,300 lbs., the MT15 model is a productive solution for short distance transfer duties. It’s equipped with a maintenance-free gel battery. To extend battery life it also features automatic discharge protection, which cuts the lift function when the battery reaches the 80% discharge level
Both of these models are both equipped with a DC drive motor which optimize uptime between routine service periods and reduce service costs. A reliable, energy-efficient controller delivers smooth handling performance.
The MT20 model has the largest capacity in the MT series at 4,500 lbs. It’s durable AC drive motor delivers consistent high-performance and reliability. A built-in charger enables opportunity charging at any convenient power point.
