Pneumatic Tire Counterbalance Forklifts
Crown Equipment Corporation has confirmed the availability of the Crown C-B Series 80V electric, pneumatic tire counterbalance forklifts with capacities ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 lbs.
They join previously released C-B Series 8,000-10,000 lb capacity models to create a full line of robust and efficient electric alternatives to internal combustion forklifts for certain applications.
The C-B Series combines the ruggedness of pneumatic tire forklifts with clean, efficient electric power to reliably handle both indoor and outdoor environments. The forklift combines the power of AC traction control with low energy consumption and offers a heavy duty, optimized steer axle that provides strength and maneuverability. Its robust design features a sealed AC controller, enclosed drive motor and silicon-sealed wiring for dependable outdoor performance.
The forklift is ergonomically designed with a focus on operator comfort and precision control. It is equipped with spacious legroom and a steering column and full suspension seat that are fully adjustable to fit operator preferences.
A supportive armrest easily adjusts to accommodate a variety of operators and seating positions, while intuitive controls of all hydraulic functions are located within easy reach to help reduce operator fatigue and promote safe operation.
The design of the C-B Series provides excellent visibility through thoughtful overhead guard design and careful routing of hydraulic hoses and chains along the mast uprights. Roomy floorboards, easy grip handles and a large, anti-slip entry step support easy, safe entry and exit. The forklift features standard operator-assist technologies that reduce mast sway, decrease travel speed in turns and apply the parking brake once the operator leaves the seat.
Several optional features are available with the C-B Series, including modular cabins, fingertip controls that enable precise and efficient movements with minimal effort and additional operator-assist technologies that help manage travel speed and forward tilt of the mast.
