Sims Partners with NACB-ies for Crane Simulation Training

The North American Crane Bureau Inc. (NACB) Interactive Education Systems, Inc. (NACB-ies), a crane simulation technology business, has been chosen as the provider of VR Simulation Technology to supplement the quality training that Sims Crane offers to its Operator, Signal and Rigging personnel.

Sims Crane provides training and NCCCO Certification to the company’s 255 operators for crane operation, basic rigging and signaling, and a safety program built upon education for employees and clients.

Students learn accident avoidance techniques and hazard awareness.

The new Dominator VR Desktop Crane Simulation Units will be used in Sims Crane’s state of the art training facility (Sims U) where every student will log numerous hours of simulation training in combination with actual hands-on training to produce the safest crane operators possible to Sims Crane’s standards.

The Dominator VR systems will allow the student to begin at a basic level and build their skill set as they advance through various exercises. In addition to building their basic skill set, students are also learning accident avoidance techniques and hazard awareness. Using our proprietary Exercise Creation System, lead instructor, Mr. Bob Berry, has designed several advanced level exercises to further challenge his students’ abilities.
