Snorkel Aerial Lifts Draw Crowds at ConExpo in Las Vegas
UK access equipment brand Snorkel was among exhibits at the recent ConExpo show in Las Vegas, where preliminary attendance figures recorded over 130,000 visitors—8% up on the 2011 show.
It was the first ConExpo since shareholders in Snorkel’s parent company, The Tanfield Group Plc, voted in favor of a deal with Xtreme Manufacturing LLC to be acquired by the Las Vegas-based company.
Snorkel and Xtreme enjoyed high levels of enquiries throughout the five-day exhibition and logged a number of sales directly on the booth, with many more to follow up.
Visitors were drawn to the booth by Xtreme’s launch of the largest capacity telehandler in North America, the XR6538. In addition, the vast booth structure, built entirely from Xtreme Cubes, attracted significant interest, and potential customers were able to visit the on-site ‘Cube Design Center’ to configure their own structures for quotation purposes.
Snorkel visitors were impressed by proposed upgrades to its 66-ft rough terrain boom lift, and also by the Snorkel TB60 which was an example of the Snorkel Rebuild Program in North America.
ConExpo runs on a three-year cycle, and will return to the Las Vegas Convention Center in March 2017.
