TC/American Joins CMAA
TC/American Crane Company has become a member of the Crane Manufacturers Association of America (CMAA) after a rigorous approval process. By joining this association, TC/American has become part of an elite organization of crane builders in the USA. CMAA member companies comprise the most innovative crane builders in the industry.
TC/American is a leading manufacturer of patented track under-running bridge crane systems and monorails supplied to customers worldwide in the aviation/aerospace, foundry and heavy manufacturing industries. With CMAA as a platform, TC/American will influence the next generation of crane builders with its designs for higher quality and performance standards.
CMAA membership also provides TC/American with early insight at the latest industry information including new technology developments and the latest industry rules and regulations.
CMAA is an independent trade association affiliated with MHI. The voluntary association of CMAA members has existed since 1955. Member companies represent industry leaders in the overhead crane market.
In addition to CMAA, TC/American is a founding member of the Monorail Manufactures Association (MMA). MMA membership has provided valuable insight to TC/American through an affiliation with MHI. MMA members produce the preponderance of patented and enclosed track underhung cranes and monorail systems in the USA.
MMA operates through committees with programs and policies reviewed and adopted by the membership with representation from each member company. Its many activities include an active engineering committee. MMA is represented on a number of standards developing committees and actively supports the development and certification of safety standards by the ANSI consensus method.
TC/American’s cranes are produced in both Waite Park and Glenwood, Minnesota. TC/American’s corporate offices including sales, engineering and support staff are located in Elk River, Minnesota.
