ThruWave Adds Link to Advisory Board
ThruWave, the pioneer of 3D millimeter wave (mmWave) imaging, has welcomed Jay Link to its advisory board.
Link brings many years of senior leadership experience in supply chain technology, automated material handling, and robotics industries, serving at leading companies including Berkshire Grey, Amazon Robotics, and Invensys/Schneider Electric. He is currently chief commercial officer of Formant, an emerging leader in robotic data and operations platform.
ThruWave’s X2 mmWave imaging system is used by leading e-commerce, retail, and logistics customers to see through packaging to the items inside. ThruWave’s ‘x-ray vision’ sensors are augmented by automated analytics to measure cube utilization, count items, and detect missing or damaged items.
ThruWave founder and CEO Matt Reynolds said: “Warehouse and fulfillment center operators use the X2 mmWave imaging system to see through packaging to the items inside, for multiple applications including optimizing packaging and reducing shipping costs.”
“ThruWave’s innovative 3D imaging capability enables unprecedented supply chain visibility,” said Link. “ThruWave‘s mmWave sensors enable Fortune 100 retail and ecommerce customers to optimize their pick-and-pack and shipping operations and quickly turn that increased efficiency into significant ROI.”
