UniCarriers Honors Top Dealer Personnel

UniCarriers Americas Corporation (UCA) celebrated top dealer personnel during its annual Pack for the Sun sales trip last month. Forty-five dealer professionals and their guests traveled to Sandals Grande Resort in St. John’s, Antigua, where they were recognized for top sales performance during fiscal year 2018.

Pack for the Sun winners are chosen based on the number of new units and aftermarket parts sold. To qualify for the trip, UCA sales representatives were entered into three established contest groups determined by their dealership’s market size and only the top professionals in each category were rewarded the trip.

During the awards banquet, the Pinnacle award was presented to Wes Hibdon from Darr Equipment. The Pinnacle award is a lifetime achievement distinction that honors the most successful sales professional in UCA’s dealer network from the last year.

“Winning the Pinnacle award has been one of my goals since my first Pack for the Sun trip in 2011,” said Hibdon. “I am very honored to be included in a list of winners who have undoubtedly demonstrated vast success year over year. If I had to offer advice to others it would be to surround yourself with positive people, stay in touch with the UCA team and last, but not least, cold call. Cold calling is a must in our industry and has been a constant contributor to my success.”

Pack for the Sun attendees enjoyed many perks and activities during their trip that began with a welcome reception on the beach with live entertainment. Winners also took advantage of sailing a Catamaran and snorkeling, a golf challenge and an awards reception and dinner.
