Wire Rope Exchange Announces the Launch of Industrial Lifting Exchange

Wire Rope Exchange, a marketplace and publication serving lifting and rigging professionals in the construction, specialty transport, offshore / marine and load securement industries, has launched the website for its new partner publication, Industrial Lifting Exchange. The website for Industrial Lifting Exchange is slated to go live today at www.industrialliftingexchange.com and will be continuously updated.

Industrial Lifting Exchange will serve North America’s overhead crane and hoist marketplace. “While they are closely related sectors, the audience for ILE is, for the most part, a completely separate audience from the readers we serve today through our original publication. We have a few advertisers that serve both markets, but we expect only a small number of end users will find both publications relevant to their work” said Bob Glenn, owner of Wire Rope Exchange LLC, publisher of both titles.

Glenn continued: “The industrial lifting marketplace poses some unique marketing challenges for the firms who serve it. Component manufacturers have to market upstream to crane makers and downstream to end users and service firms. The end user base is quite diffuse as well, in the sense that a large user such as a manufacturing company may have only a handful of employees involved in purchase, operation and maintenance of its lifting assets. Reaching them is critical.”

ILE will publish two launch issues in 2017, and will appear bi-monthly with six issues in 2018.

By focusing exclusively on North America, ILE is intended to provide an efficient marketing vehicle for firms with a national or regional rather than global focus. This should also promote its development as an active online resource for the industry through its website and social media accounts.

ILE will publish two launch issues in 2017, and will appear bi-monthly with six issues in 2018. The first issue will be mailed in late September, and will be available at the MHI Annual Conference in Boca Raton, FL to be held October 2-4. Coverage of industry events will be a key focus for ILE, along with profiles of business leaders, case studies addressing application challenges, examining the impact of technology on the way we work, and training opportunities to promote safety and compliance.

The website for Industrial Lifting Exchange is slated to go live today at www.industrialliftingexchange.com and will be continuously updated.
