Yale Opens Experience Center Featuring Mini Museum in Charlotte

Yale Materials Handling Corporation has opened its Experience Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The high-tech facility offers a convenient location for customers, dealers and employees to learn more about Yale’s history, industry leadership and solutions whilst experiencing Yale lift trucks in action.

“Our Experience Center reflects Yale‘s deep application-specific expertise,” said Jay Costello, director of training, Yale. “It provides powerful tools to help customers experience Yale’s creative solutions and partnerships to optimize their operations, built around their terms.”

The Experience Center includes an Applications Showcase area representing a warehouse with common solution interfaces that are both functional and educational in nature. As guests journey through this area, they will experience efficient operations that are achieved by matching the right truck to the application, calculating appropriate aisle widths, maximizing floor space with advanced storage techniques and calculating the cost per square foot for the right system.

Also located within the facility is the Heritage Gallery. This mini museum allows visitors to explore the rich history of the Yale brand, its innovative solutions, global reach and dedicated dealer network. As visitors enter the Heritage Gallery, they are welcomed by holograms of the company’s senior leaders, which provide high level overviews of the company and what makes it unique.
