ZAG Equipment Opens New N.C. Facility
ZAG Equipment Sales, a provider of used and refurbished injection molding and auxiliary equipment, has opened a new six-acre facility in Gibsonville, North Carolina.
Much bigger than the previous location, the new facility augments ZAG’s ability to serve injection molders in the southeast and throughout the entire United States with reliable, previously owned injection molding machines, granulators, dryers, industrial robots and other auxiliary equipment.
The larger, brighter space enables ZAG to maximize inventory, broaden consignment services and demonstrate more machinery than was previously possible at the former location. It also allows ZAG to increase the number of auctions and total plant liquidations it completes each year.
“This expansion allows us not only to increase the number of machines we are able to offer up for sale but also to grow our equipment repair and refurbishing capabilities,” said Tim Gould, president and co-owner of Fordham Plastics.
Scott Zuber, vice president, ZAG and fellow co-owner of Fordham Plastics, said: “The acquisition of our new space gives us plenty of room to grow and serve the increasing demand for quality used injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.”
ZAG was founded in 2004 by Zuber and Gould, who saw the need in the southeast for a local company to provide reliable, used injection molding and auxiliary equipment. Zuber and Gould (ZAG) are also the principal founders for Fordham Plastics Equipment Co., a manufacturer’s representative agency for new plastics manufacturing equipment.
